Angela here. How’s it going you guys? Just came in from hanging out outside…getting a little sunshine fix. It’s just too nice to not be out there! It’s about damn time it’s feeling how spring is supposed to feel This is the beginning of a great week for us because we found out we have our VERY first song CUT on Chuck Wicks’ new EP and it’s coming out tomorrow (April 9th)!!!! Our. first. song. ever!! It was just so FREAKIN COOL for Amy, Court and I hearing that “Fix Me” which we co-wrote with Chuck last year was the first song on his new EP. So make sure you go get a copy! I know Chuck and the three of us will really appreciate it if you do (it’s on iTunes and you can check his website for more info on it!) We’re also gonna be in Louisville, KY this Saturday night opening for David Nail so if any of you live near there or wanna take a drive to Louisville, come on up! We’d love to see ya. I’m pretty excited to play with him…he’s from our home state and he is a big ol STL Cardinals fan Okay…I really need a “shuggah fix” so I’m out haha. Love ya’ll.

So for any of you who follow the Lenten season, you know that lent officially started a little over a week ago. And you also know what that means: no meat on Fridays. And since we don’t eat fish, for us that means: BREAKFAST FOR DINNER! Pancakes, that is. Don’t mind if I do

We’ve been staying busy working on recording our 4 new songs that Amy told you about in her last post. They’re sounding so good, I can’t wait for y’all to hear them!!

Last weekend, the 3 of us and our manager drove down to Bradenton, FL (near Tampa) for a show opening for Jana Kramer. The crowd was awesome down there! And a big thanks to Cindy & Jeff in ATL for their wonderful hospitality! They let us stay at their beautiful home on Valentine’s night so that we could break up the 12 hr drive from Nashville to Bradenton. We had so much fun at the show and made some memories along the way!

Coming up on March 12^th we will be playing at the Jeffrey Steele & Friends benefit concert at the Franklin Theatre. The show has special guests Billy Ray Cyrus, Gloriana, Colt Ford, Locash Cowboys, Chris Jansen, and of course us! It should be a fun night! Tonight we’re playing at the National Underground. It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve played there! It’ll feel good to be back tonight. And we’ve got some family coming in town this weekend! A bunch of family members from St. Louis are driving down for the weekend because our Polish cousins are in town. How cool is that!? It’s like a mini family reunion. We’re excited to see them all!

Anyway, it’s almost pancake time, so I hope y’all have a good weekend!

What!! It’s February??

So I’m sitting here, sipping my coffee, petting the dog, and thinking that we haven’t posted in awhile. So I’ll fill y’all in on what’s been going on. 2013 has been busy! In a great way! We played the 30A Songwriter’s Festival in Florida a few weeks ago. We had a beautiful weekend. We tried out some new songs, had some fun on the beach, and met some great people. It was a blast! Right when we got back to Nashville, we went back into the studio and tracked the last four songs for the album. I cannot even explain how excited I am for these last four!!! We’re heading in this week to work on the vocals. I LOVE all of the songs we’ve cut so far. In their own way each of them are our little babies, but there’s something really special about these last four. Can’t wait to share with you!

We just got back from playing in Canada, and Pittsburgh. It was freezing!!!!!! And I thought Nashville was cold! The folks up there were awesome. They definitely know how to have a good time. Can’t wait to go back!!

We have some neat things coming up, and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the year brings Til next time y’all…
